Clicking at note-offs in the example track is not present in the 2008-03-06 build. It may have something to do with the disabling of ramping? I notice in my test builds from last year where I did not disable ramping, but greatly shortened it, this click becomes more of a small pop.

Indeed, noticed that a while ago. Also, on newnotes / note-offs, clicking is less audible, but it is still there.
Selecting any "mixing mode" on shift+F5 (even re-selecting the current one) corrects the clicking bug for newnotes and === note-off, but not for ^^^ note-cut.

Confirmed, fiddled with ramping options and also reverted note cut code and it still clicks. :\
I was talking to Saga Musix, and came to the conclusion that entirely uprooting ALL of the crappy ramping / declicking code, and replacing it completely, would be the best route to take, because modplug is stupid.
